Death plagues my fields, like I’m growing something the world can’t foster. Our methods are outdated yet we stay true to them for principle. Anything added to the soil is, at best, a diluted solution from next door. The very seeds we plant are set for extinction the following season. Things grow slower on this side of town. I’ve been placed here to be the exception.
