He was a freak musician, but so much more than that. Prince hailed from Minneapolis, Minnesota, and had a flamboyant style that confused a lot of mainline Americans. Like Michael Jackson – another game changing Midwest artist – he pushed the boundaries of music, gender and race. Prince passed away this morning, after being found in his Chanhassen studio (June 7, 1958 – April 21, 2016). That’s Basement Made to the T.
