L-R brings the jive, it’s sorta what he’s known for. The Milwaukee artist has that same strong energy on this “Liquor” record (December 30, 2016), giving us something to move to in the vast cold that is Wisconsin right now. The talented emcee is passionate for positivity, community and culture, which is important for Hip Hop artists to aspire to in an era so flooded with toxic mindsets and surface level assumptions about the bigger picture.

It’s been a grip since we premiered a record here at Basement Made. This is a perfect joint to come back with. Let the funky and smooth vibes of this new L-R take over your soul in the bleak of the harsh winter. It’s really a great mix for any time, but I hear a local flow on this, alongside L-R’s continued improvement as a lyrical and narrative emcee. DJ Payday and 40Mil – off the home team Rhythmaddix music group – did the beat. Turn that knob all the way right for some HQ Milwaukee music.

Can’t get this merch on da cloud quite yet. L-R wants you to buy it, so hear a sample n go grab ya a copy on iTunes or TIDAL.

“Lyrics and rhythm, man it’s how you pick em
The mic is like a paintbrush, the canvas, I make a living”
